General:
TLC Autocentres Ltd reserves the right to cancel bookings or change an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances.
All online booking requests will be confirmed by email, telephone or text. Such bookings will not be valid until confirmed to the customer by email or text.
All prices, products and service content are subject to change without prior notice.
All parts and labour carry a 12 month’s warranty or up to 12,000 miles. Please note that our warranty is not transferrable to a third party.
Value Added Tax:
Please note that all stated prices include VAT at the current rate, with the exception of MOT Inspections which are zero rated.
Customer Discounts:
Where applicable, some offers are subject to proof of club or motoring organisation membership.
Discount vouchers must be presented on delivery of your vehicle to our workshop, prior to work being carried out.
Any offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, discounts or voucher promotions.
Offers may be withdrawn or varied at any time without prior notice, unless a booking has already been confirmed.
Manufacturer’s Services:
As a manufacturer service is specific to your vehicle, depending on its mileage, age and service history we will be happy to give you a quote by email, telephone or text.
An additional charge will be made should long life, platinum or multi-electrode plugs be required.
There will be an upgrade charge for special or fully synthetic oils. A charge will also be made for engine sizes in excess of 2000cc.
Clutch Replacements:
Initial quotes are only estimates. The quote is for a new clutch kit where available. The final, fitted price will be determined upon inspection of the vehicle by us. The final price may include other components which might be required for a specific vehicle. These will be charged accordingly.
Clutch Replacements are guaranteed for a minimum 24 months or 24,000 miles (whichever is sooner).
Service your car without invalidating its warranty:
EU legislation changes the way in which vehicles may be serviced and repaired, giving motorists more freedom in their decision as to who should look after their cars. Now motorists can use a TLC Autocentre to service their cars without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty, and receive a discount of up to 50% of the dealer quoted prices.
Courtesy Vehicles:
TLC Autocentres offer the use of a courtesy vehicle free of charge, subject to availability. Should a customer require a courtesy vehicle whilst their own car is being serviced or repaired, then a request must be made and confirmed at the time of booking. Courtesy vehicles are only available by prior appointment on a first come first served basis, but can be booked up to 8 weeks ahead. The vehicle is fully insured by TLC Autocentres, and is subject to a “clean” driving licence and the driver being 25 years or over. The customer is responsible for returning the vehicle to the TLC Autocentres workshop with the same level of fuel in the tank as when the vehicle was loaned to the customer, otherwise a re-fuelling and admin. charge will be incurred.
In the event of an accident where the driver is found to be at fault, there will be an insurance excess payable by the customer of £750.00 per claim. The customer is also responsible for any damage caused to the bodywork of the vehicle whilst in his/her care. The customer must supply a member of staff their full driving licence (both parts) for verification and copying at the time of collecting a loan vehicle.
Pick Up – Drop Off Service:
TLC Autocentres offer a complimentary vehicle pick-up and drop off service within a 10 miles radius of Basingstoke city centre, subject to availability. This service must be requested and confirmed at the time of booking. If the service is required outside the specified radius, then a charge of £3.50 plus VAT per mile will be added to your invoice.
