Welcome to TLC AutoCentres Basingstoke, Come in and have a chat with one of our qualified car mechanics


Chris Fitzpatrick and Tony Jackman (the founders of TLC Autocentres)  have worked together for many years in the Basingstoke area, having worked and trained with VAG, Ford, BMW and Nissan main dealerships along with working for National Independents carrying out MOT's, Servicing, Repairs and Diagnostics to all makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles.

Between them, Chris and Tony have over 35 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry and are well placed to offer customers a wealth of advice and indepth knowledge in all aspects of the business, having undertaken extensive training which is on-going to keep them at the front of the latest developments in automotive technology and workshop equipment.

Tony is also a fully qualified VOSA MOT tester, he alone has over 21 years’ experience in this field.

Administration of the business is undertaken by Claudine Fitzpatrick.


About TLC Autocentres

TLC Autocentres Ltd first started out as TLC Automotive in 2010, due to the success of this business it was decided in 2012 to launch a larger, more comprehensive Autocentre based in the heart of Basingstoke.

The modern fitted vehicle workshops, reception centre and offices amounting to 3000 sq. ft. are ideally located close to Basingstoke Town Centre, featuring a state of the art ATL MOT Bay with CCTV for customers to view their cars being worked on from the comfort of the reception centre, along with two post and scissor ramps, a dedicated diagnostics bay using the latest engine management equipment systems to assist in quickly identifying faults.

TLC Autocentres is now building on the excellent reputation they have quickly achieved and look forward to developing this family run business in the years to ahead.

“We have no 'hard sell' tactics, only essential work will be carried out with your permission.

Any parts removed from your vehicle will be made available for you to view and inspect on collection.

Complimentary refreshments are available in our child friendly modern reception centre, or if the service of your vehicle is being undertaken while you wait, you are welcome to relax in our Quiet Zone on the first floor, where refreshments, fresh sandwiches and snacks can be purchased”
